Change

The darkness rises.
It falls away
Clearing my sight
To view the sun
once again.

Change from dark to light is hard
Yes.
But I can do it.
No more night for me.
The sun rises upon a new day

Change is a constant part of life
And there will always be strife.
And it all starts with a single step.

So no longer will I see night.
I want to see light.
Though it may blind me at first
I will pull through.
And see the day for what it truly is.
